BANICA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

The parishes of Banica and San Pedro were adopted by the Catholic Arlington Diocese in 1991. In addition to staffing the parishes with priests and religious Sisters, the Diocese sponsors multiple yearly trips of volunteers from the Northern Virginia area parishes, colleges, and Catholic High schools to complete building and restoration projects. These groups transport our kits to the orphanage and surrounding impoverished community. To date we have sent 640 kits.
